ABOUT ME

While I am initially from Rhode Island, I have been lucky to live in Washington for the last 8 years. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), with a concentration in Practice with Children, Youth, and Families from the University of Washington. My education at the University of Washington was rooted in social justice, and focused on coursework involving ethics and policy, understanding mental health through a biopsychosocial perspective, and the development of direct practice skills with individuals, families, and groups. Additional coursework focused on ethical dilemmas in clinical practice, the intersections of social justice and mental health, and substance use disorders.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential programs. Through a collaborative, client-centered approach to treatment, I work with clients to identify their unique goals. My clinical foundation is in providing full-model Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I work with patients experiencing pervasive emotional dysregulation to develop effective coping strategies geared toward more fully and joyfully engaging in their lives. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, OCD, and trauma through modalities including, but not limited to, DBT, DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

As a queer therapist, I enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ populations. My clients are both adolescents and adults who identify as women, girls, and gender non-conforming individuals. I am honored to work alongside my patients in their unique journeys.
